Positivo Ltd · Last updated: June 2026

Plain English summary: Monitr is a thyroid monitoring subscription service. You get a home collection kit every quarter, we process your sample at a UK-accredited lab, and you receive a plain-language results report. Our results are for personal health monitoring only — not a clinical diagnosis. Always discuss your results with your GP.

1. About Us and These Terms

Positivo Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate the Monitr thyroid monitoring subscription service at monitr.health ("the Service"). References to "we", "us" or "our" refer to Positivo Ltd.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Monitr waitlist and, when the Service launches, your subscription to Monitr. By joining the waitlist or purchasing a subscription you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data.

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to use the Service.

2. The Monitr Service

The Monitr subscription service provides:

Laboratory analysis is carried out by Inuvi, our UKAS-accredited laboratory partner. Monitr is responsible for the overall service; Inuvi is responsible for the analytical accuracy of your test results.

Important: Monitr results are provided for personal health monitoring and informational purposes only. They do not constitute a medical diagnosis and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always discuss your results with your GP or a qualified healthcare professional, particularly if any result is outside the reference range.

3. Waitlist

By joining the Monitr waitlist you are expressing interest in the Service. Joining the waitlist does not create a contract for the supply of the Service and does not guarantee access or pricing. We will contact waitlist members when the Service is ready to launch.

Founding member pricing, where offered, will be confirmed in writing at the time of launch. We reserve the right to limit founding member availability.

4. Subscription and Payment

When the Service launches, Monitr will be available as a quarterly subscription. Full pricing will be confirmed at launch. By purchasing a subscription you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring quarterly basis until you cancel.

Payment is taken in advance for each quarter. We accept major debit and credit cards. We do not store your card details — payments are processed securely by our payment provider.

Prices may change with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect the current billing period. Founding members who joined the waitlist prior to launch are entitled to the founding member price for as long as their subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

5. Sample Collection and Testing

Your collection kit contains everything needed to take your sample, including full instructions. Please read and follow the instructions carefully. You are responsible for:

Turnaround times (typically 48 hours from receipt at the lab) are estimates and may vary. Time is not of the essence for the delivery of results. We are not responsible for postal delays affecting the transit of your sample or kit.

In a small number of cases a sample may be rejected by the laboratory due to insufficient volume, sample degradation, or other analytical reasons. In such cases we will send a replacement kit at no charge. We cannot offer a refund where a sample is rejected due to failure to follow collection instructions.

6. Results and Limitations

Your results report is provided for personal health monitoring purposes only. We provide your biomarker values and reference ranges. We do not provide clinical diagnostic advice, treatment recommendations, or a clinical interpretation of your results.

Reference ranges are based on standard population ranges as understood at the time of testing. Your individual reference range may differ. Results must never be used as the sole basis for starting, stopping, or changing any medication or treatment.

If any of your results are outside the reference range, we strongly recommend you discuss them with your GP or a qualified healthcare professional.

Test results have inherent limitations. Laboratory testing alone is never a substitute for a full clinical assessment by a qualified healthcare professional.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Monitr subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing quarter — you will retain access to the Service until then and no further charges will be made.

If you cancel before your first kit has been dispatched, you are entitled to a full refund. Once your kit has been dispatched, refunds are not available for the current quarter.

If your sample cannot be analysed due to a laboratory error or a defective kit, we will provide a replacement test at no charge. This is the extent of our liability in such circumstances.

To cancel, email us at hello@monitr.health with your name and account details.

8. Our Liability

The Monitr service is provided for personal health monitoring purposes only and must not be used for any commercial purpose.

Our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the total amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for:

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including postal service disruptions, laboratory closures, or supply chain issues. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and work to resume the Service as quickly as possible.

10. Your Personal Information

We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that we will share relevant personal information with our laboratory partner Inuvi for the purpose of processing your sample.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email with at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect. If you do not agree to the updated Terms you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
